- About us
- We've been married seven years and have been cat/house-sitting regularly for friends, family and people we've met through housesittersuk since we chose to stop long-term renting in 2021.
- That's crazy, so do you have a place of your own?
- Nope! We seem to know so many cats now that we seem to always to be doing a sit, though we do take time off to travel in the winter.
- Is this your job?
- We both do full-time freelance work. I work in live sport broadcasting and Feargus has a business setting up databases for medical trials. We've only ever done catsitting in exchange for accomodation.
- So you guys must like cats?
- Absolutely 😻. We both grew up with pet cats, and love having them around. Best is when they sleep in the bed.
- How do I arrange for you to catsit for us?
- Typically we would have a quick chat on whatsapp or email, then arrange a video call. After that, you could meet us in person and finalise an arrangement.
- Can you send us pictures of our cat when we're away?
- We know it's important to know your cat is happy while you're away, and we always arrange to send an update once a day or every other day. And we can also help out with receiving deliveries.
- Are you available on housesittersuk?
- Yes - we're available here and you are welcome to use that system to see our reviews and benefit from booking protections made as a registered user. We just have so many direct bookings now that we've decided to set up a centralised website with our availability.
